We serve whatever the valley has to offer, prepared with lots of love. From a hearty breakfast to a fine dinner, we focus on quality, freshness, and flavor. We work hand in hand with people from our neighborhood who share our passion for authentic craftsmanship. Herbs from the garden, products from local producers, and a touch of Alpine creativity create memorable moments of enjoyment. You can taste where you are and that’s the best part.
Out of love for our homeland, we are proud partners of Biosfera Val Müstair. Together with the regional nature park, we are committed to sustainable enjoyment, responsible tourism, and the protection of our unique mountain landscape. What ends up on our plates represents active conservation, traditional craftsmanship, and a genuine commitment to the future of our valley.
Authentic flavor, no shortcuts! We source our juicy meat directly from “Bacharia Val Müstair,” led by Lorenz Tschenett, as well as from organic farmers in our valley.
Lush alpine meadows in a glass and on your plate. We source our milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, and cream from “Chascharia Val Müstair.” Everything is made from 100% pure organic hay milk.
It doesn't get much fresher than this. Janik Spindler collects the eggs for our dishes every day for us over at “Hof Bain Bun.”
For us, the smell of bread fresh from the oven is simply part of our daily routine. Every morning, we rely on the traditional craftsmanship of the “Meier Beck” bakery in Sta. Maria.
Crispy baked goods made with love. Every morning, Caterina Bott from Müstair delivers fresh bread to us, ensuring you have the perfect start to your day.
The down-to-earth foundation of our cuisine. We source our potatoes, flour, and grains locally from “Agricultura Val Müstair.”
Liquid gold from the mountains. The aromatic wildflower honey “Mel da Fluars dalla Val Müstair” is brought to our doorstep by the bees of our neighbor, Flurin Bott.
Depending on the season, we pick crisp lettuce and aromatic herbs straight from Corina Bott’s garden next door to serve on your plate. The rest is handled by the family: Mamma Tina, Tata Luis, and Chef Tami put their heart and soul into creating fruity jams, refreshing syrups, and delicate herb salts. And for the perfect finishing touch, the Chef insists on making his own fine liqueurs using his own recipes.
We’ll help you discover all the other culinary treasures our valley has to offer at the Volg store “La Butia” in Valchava.
Tessanda in Santa Maria Val Müstair is a traditional hand weaving mill that has been producing high-quality textiles from natural yarns since 1928. Its products combine craftsmanship with timeless design.
